Now that I’m into my 30’s, I also enjoy good constructive conversation, cool mountain bike trails (because I actually need to get out from behind my PC now and again) and travelling. Please don’t sell me crazy! I prefer a simple, modest and peaceful existence. Hold on a second. Is that even possible in the 21st Century? Maybe not entirely but that’s what I’m aiming for so let me hold onto the dream a little longer please.
How did I end up in the insurance game? That’s a long story and I don’t want to bore you with the details. Why am I still in the insurance industry? That’s a far better question in my opinion. You probably want to know why I do what I do five days, or more, a week. The simplest, most honest answer I can give is… So what really drives me on the business front? I guess I’m the type of person that likes creating an expectation and delivering on it. Good old fashion service delivery is one that ranks highest on my list of business priorities. Why? Because the level of service in this country is pretty darn lousy. I want my clients to be treated like I expect to be treated. Need it done and I will get it done. Have a problem, I’ll sort it out. I’m just one of those personality types. Is it a blessing or a curse..? To be honest, perhaps both, but I’ve directed this “need to please” energy into at least one place I know it’s appreciated and very much required. That’s growing our financial services business. |
