    • Hi Paulos,

We send your details on to them. However, we have no control from that point onwards. If you haven’t been contacted please send an email to us via the contact us link at the top of the page and we’ll chase them on for you.

  3. I want to consolidate my other small loans, but I do not want to have a debt review or any other company to phone me and advise me to have this. if I can have one payment it will help me al lot.

    • Shop around for a personal loan.
Or start off by tackling the shortest term loan and settling that first. Then add that repayment onto the next shortest loan, and settle that.

  4. Ok so what rate of interest do these companies charge? And is there a table that is available to calculate repayments on a certain amount?

    • Hi Elaine,

You would need to approach them and inquire. Much of it has to do with your credit score, so the rate will differ from person to person.

      • I was sent some info from Old Mutual a while back offering loans at 5%. I am needing cash to build a small granny flat on my sons property. I have an insurance policy with Old Mutual, and when the representative heard that, she said I wasnt eligible for loans, it was only for new clients?
I will have to do some more enquiries

    • Hi,

We’ll send your details on. I understand how it feels to be trapped in your financial circumstances. If you qualify for a loan, use it wisely.

    • Hi,

I understand how you’re feeling, totally. The best decision you’ll ever make is to get out of debt completely. Leave the fancy cars, the keeping up with the Jones’s, for other people and be satisfied with your lot in life.

I know it sounds crazy, but being in debt, and worrying about debt, will take years off your life.

    • On a lighter note – Don’t get married? Or are you proposing marriage to one of us?

No easy solution to your problem unfortunately.

  7. I would like to take out a loan in order to settle my others loans I have but my credit record is in a bad state. Is there a way to get the loan.

    • Hi,

If your applications for credit are continuously being rejected then you should consider debt counselling. They would consolidate your debt in such a away to protect you from creditors.
